As part of efforts to support integration between scientific research and industry, Lavander Life Group has signed a cooperation protocol with the Cotton Research Institute, aiming to develop mechanisms for maximizing the utilization of Egyptian cotton and enhancing its added value in both local and international markets.
The protocol seeks to transform Egyptian cotton from a raw material into high-quality industrial products capable of competing in regional and global markets, through modern manufacturing applications based on scientific research outputs and industrial development approaches.
Dr. Mai Eldarawy, Chairwoman of Lavander Life Group, confirmed that this cooperation represents a step toward supporting national industry and linking agriculture with manufacturing and export within an integrated system, highlighting the importance of maximizing the value of Egyptian cotton as one of the most strategic crops.
She explained that the group follows a vision aimed at developing high-quality cotton-based products, including cotton clothing, specialized textiles, and various functional products, which enhances opportunities for expansion into international markets.
For its part, the cooperation with the Cotton Research Institute reflects a direction toward strengthening partnerships between the private sector and research institutions, with the aim of translating scientific research outputs into practical industrial applications that can be implemented and scaled.

This protocol comes within efforts aimed at supporting Egyptian industry and enhancing the competitiveness of national products in regional and international markets, through the development of production chains based on innovation and quality.
