As part of the academic and awareness activities organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Model at Galala University, a session titled “Lavander Journey” was held on Monday, April 5, at the Faculty of Basic Sciences, featuring Dr. Mai Eldarawy, entrepreneur and Chairwoman of Lavander Life Exporting Group.
During the session, Dr. Mai Eldarawy shared her experience in establishing and developing Lavander Life Exporting Group, highlighting her journey of success, the challenges she faced in entrepreneurship, and how she transformed a startup idea into a brand expanding toward regional and international markets.
The session was part of a comprehensive event that included several scientific and applied topics, including a session on artificial intelligence and bioinformatics, which explored the integration of programming, biology, and data analysis, as well as a session on food safety and quality and its role in protecting human health.
The event witnessed the participation of a number of lecturers and specialists from diverse fields, in addition to officials from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), reflecting the significance of the event and the diversity of expertise involved.
The event also saw notable engagement from participating students, supporting the integration of academic knowledge with practical experience and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship among youth.
