The third edition of the Global Mental Health Forum, held on May 16 at the Arab Center for Childhood and Development, witnessed the honoring of Dr. Mai El Darawy,Ceo of Lavander Life Group, by Awareness Party with the “Awareness Medal” as part of its list of inspiring figures, in recognition of her professional journey and contributions to community development.
As an entrepreneur, Dr. Mai El Darawy succeeded in establishing a business entity that combines commercial success with social impact through supporting women, assisting indebted women and cancer fighters, and providing job opportunities within her factories, in addition to supporting and marketing their handmade products.
She has also launched and supported several community initiatives focused on spreading awareness and promoting mental health, including the “Lavander Wellness Circle” initiative, alongside programs aimed at empowering youth and children through community development activities.
The honor comes in recognition of her role in supporting community empowerment initiatives and participating in efforts related to mental health awareness and social development.
