Dr. Hesham Mostafa Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Reform and Renaissance Party, has issued a decision appointing entrepreneur Dr. Mai El Darawy, Chairwoman of Lavander Life Group, as Secretary of the Economic Development Committee of the Central Women’s Secretariat, as part of the party’s commitment to benefiting from qualified professionals and specialized expertise in advancing Egypt’s economic development agenda.
Dr. Mai El Darawy’s appointment reflects her distinguished track record in entrepreneurship and economic development. She leads Lavander Life Group, which comprises eight specialized companies operating both in Egypt and internationally across sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, trade, export, services, advertising, and fashion design. She also spearheads numerous initiatives supporting women’s empowerment, youth development, and entrepreneurship, while holding memberships in several regional and international economic organizations and business associations, reflecting her extensive expertise in economic development and investment.
