As part of its mission to foster creativity and develop artistic skills among children during the summer vacation, the FashoLava Fashion & Designing Center has officially launched its first creative workshop for kids:
“Crafty Dream with Lavander Life – Little Lavander Creators Edition”, led by fashion designer Mayada Bayoumi and a team of professional designers, in collaboration with Amy’s Fun House in Shorouk City .
This workshop marks the beginning of a planned series of summer activities targeting boys and girls aged 7 to 10 years, combining fun with art through a hands-on experience where each child creates their own handmade art piece.
Focusing on natural leather crafting, the workshop offers children the opportunity to design and create their own handmade leather keychain, inspired by the world of lavender. Using safe and natural materials, children will craft and color their pieces under the direct supervision of trained professionals.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Amy’s Fun House in Shorouk City (First District – First Neighborhood East), and will run for three hours, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Workshop highlights include:
• Creating a leather keychain in the Lavender Boy/Girl design
• Hands-on coloring and safe crafting techniques
• A personalized certificate of attendance
• A special gift for every participant
• All tools and materials provided by the center
• Direct supervision by Mayada Bayoumi and the Fasho Lava team
• A light snack offered to each child, sponsored by Y2 Lavander in support of the young creators
The workshop is ideal for beginners and children interested in art, design, and handcrafts. No prior experience is required.
The participation fee is EGP 450, and the number of spots is limited to ensure quality individual training and guidance.
