In a new student achievement reflecting the development of youth media content, “El Hekaya” graduation project by fourth-year students of the Journalism Department, Faculty of Arts, Helwan University, secured first place in both the Digital Journalism and Podcast categories. This achievement comes as part of the 2025/2026 graduation projects, under the sponsorship of Lavander Life Group.
The project represents an innovative media experience that combines digital journalism and podcasting through an integrated online platform and visual content, highlighting success stories and the experiences of entrepreneurs and startups across various economic, cultural, artistic, and sports fields.
The project featured a series of interviews with several public figures, including world-renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, poet Menna Adel El Qeiyady, entrepreneur Dr. Mai El Darawy, and content creator Walaa Abdel Rahman, popularly known as “El Aroba,” along with other influential personalities in society.
The project demonstrated remarkable excellence in preparation, production, and content quality, which enabled it to win first place. In addition, Dr. Mai El Darawy’s interview—titled “Ms.lavender”—was selected as the best interview in the project by the judging panel, due to its inspiring content and rich conversational experience that received high praise.
It is worth noting that the sponsorship and support of the project were implemented through one of Lavander Life Group’s companies, “Lavanderita” Advertising Agency, which provided full production, technical, and media support. This contributed to delivering the project in a highly professional manner that reflects the quality of the students’ academic and practical experience.
