In a step that reflects its commitment to expanding its network of advocates for its humanitarian mission, Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer has appointed entrepreneur Dr. Mai Eldarawy, Chairwoman of Lavander Life Group, as a Foundation Ambassador. In this role, she will contribute to raising awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection and support the Foundation’s efforts to serve breast cancer warriors in Egypt and beyond.
The appointment comes as part of Baheya Foundation’s strategy to strengthen collaboration with influential figures active in the fields of social responsibility and women’s empowerment, helping to expand its network of supporters and partners while enhancing its efforts to provide early detection, treatment, and comprehensive care for breast cancer patients.
Dr. Mai Eldarawy is widely recognized for her commitment to women’s empowerment through her leadership of Lavander Life Group, which sponsors a number of social and economic initiatives. These include providing employment opportunities, training, and capacity-building programs for breadwinning women, widows, and breast cancer warriors, contributing to their economic empowerment and integration into the workforce.
