As part of the CEO Conclave & Investors Forum 2026, held in Nairobi, Kenya, the Afro-Asian Chamber of Commerce and International Exchange (AAMECC) organized a wide international participation, bringing together a select group of experts and specialists from several countries, including Kenya, Angola, Ghana, Cameroon, Malaysia, and others, with the aim of strengthening economic dialogue and expanding investment cooperation between Africa and Asia.
The forum witnessed a notable Egyptian presence represented by Dr. Mai El-Darawy, Chairwoman of Lavander Life Group of Companies, alongside Mr. Mohamed Samir, Financial and Risk Management Consultant, representing the Arab Republic of Egypt among a distinguished group of participating economic leaders.
In her speech, Dr. Mai El-Darawy highlighted the journey of Lavander Life Group in entrepreneurship, sharing the story behind its establishment and its vision for expansion, built on innovation and integration across different sectors, emphasizing the importance of supporting entrepreneurs and enabling companies to expand into regional and international markets.
Dr. El-Darawy stated: “Entrepreneurship is no longer just an idea; it has become an economic and social responsibility that requires determination, innovation, and building real bridges of cooperation between different markets.”
On his part, Mr. Mohamed Samir addressed topics related to finance, banking, and risk management, explaining the differences between the financial systems in Egypt and Kenya, and the importance of understanding each market’s nature when making investment decisions, contributing to stronger and more sustainable economic partnerships among participating countries.

He further emphasized that enhancing financial cooperation between Africa and Asia is a key step toward increasing investment flows and opening new opportunities for investors.
This participation reflects the role of the Afro-Asian Chamber (AAMECC) in supporting economic integration and building bridges of communication between the business communities of both continents, while fostering collaboration between economic institutions and entrepreneurs on an international level.
